In October we reported record sales of our corporate eftpos gift cards. Momentum did not slow throughout November and December with our card printers running hot right up until Christmas. For this period our clients primarily need solutions for Staff Christmas Gifts, Corporate Rewards & Sales Bonuses as well as Trade Channel Incentives
Staff Christmas Gifts
Clients were looking to give their team a gift which offered their staff the freedom to reward themselves with almost anything! Unlike store gift cards which would have restricted their employees to a single chain we were able to help thousands of people get what they really wanted for Christmas! Lots of clients took advantage of our low cost co-branded option and had their logo printed onto their gift cards, ensuring their brand would be reinforced long after they presented the gift card whilst still keeping the card production costs to a minimum!
Corporate Rewards & Sales Bonuses
November/December often sees channel and rep incentives coming to an end with many organisations choosing to reward targets and behaviour just before the festive season. By hiding rewards in pay cheques, the message of how and why the extra cash was rewarded isn’t as strong as if they receive a physical reminder. A personalised gift card really drives home that the cash is an added bonus and was earned through their behaviour and performance at work.. The recipient is more likely to spoil themselves with fun items rather than the reward disappearing into general bills or everyday living which prolongs the feel good factor associated with their employers brand.
Re-sellers Promotions
Resellers, agents, dealer networks, wholesalers and distributors are all potential brand advocates. Many of our clients opt to incentivise not just the end users of their products and services but also their extended distribution channel. As we all take a big breath after the craziness of Christmas we look forward to whatever challenges our clients have in store for 2014. January usually sees a lot of enquiries and investigation while Marketing and HR professionals alike regroup and plan for the next 6 months.
